General Questions

What products does JFGraphix offer?

We create custom decals, reflective vinyl stickers, apparel, signage, banners, 3D-printed parts, and laser-engraved items. Most products are made to order in-house.

Are your products made in the USA?

Yes. All decals and printed products are produced in the United States by a veteran-owned and operated business.

Do you accept custom design requests?

Absolutely. We can create or print custom artwork for fire departments, businesses, clubs, and individuals. Use our contact form to tell us what you need and we’ll provide a quote.


Product Questions

What material are your decals made from?

We use high-quality vinyl including Nikkalite® reflective sheeting, premium cast and calendared vinyl, and specialty films depending on the project.

Are your reflective decals suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Our reflective decals are laminated and rated for long-term outdoor durability. They are weather-resistant and ideal for vehicles, helmets, and equipment.

Do decals come with transfer tape?

Yes. Detailed or layered decals include clear transfer tape to make installation easier and more accurate.

What surfaces can decals be applied to?

Decals work best on smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces such as painted metal, glass, sealed plastic, laptops, helmets, and vehicle panels.

What surfaces should decals not be applied to?

We do not recommend applying decals to rough or dusty surfaces, raw wood, uncoated plastics, or heavily textured finishes.


Installation

How do I apply my decal?

1) Clean the surface with mild soap and water or isopropyl alcohol and let it dry.
2) Peel the backing, leaving the decal on the transfer tape.
3) Position the decal and press it down using a squeegee or card to remove bubbles.
4) Slowly remove the transfer tape at a low angle.

Can I reposition my decal during installation?

Our decals use pressure-sensitive adhesive. Once they are firmly pressed in place, they are not designed to be repositioned, so align carefully before applying pressure.

How do I remove an old decal?

Gently warm the decal with a hair dryer or heat gun on low, peel it back slowly, and remove any remaining adhesive with an appropriate adhesive remover or isopropyl alcohol.


Durability & Care

How long do your decals last?

Reflective decals typically last 5–7 years outdoors. Standard and premium vinyls usually last 3–6 years depending on exposure and care.

Are decals car-wash safe?

Yes. After the adhesive has fully cured (about 24–48 hours), decals can go through most standard car washes. Hand washing is still recommended for longest life.

Will the colors fade?

Our decals are laminated to help resist UV fading, scratching, and weather damage, but like all outdoor graphics, some gradual fading over many years is normal.


Ordering & Customization

Can I order bulk quantities for my department or organization?

Yes. We offer bulk pricing for departments, businesses, and groups. Contact us with your logo, quantity, and project details for a custom quote.

Can I see a proof before production?

For custom orders, we typically provide a digital proof for approval. Standard catalog items do not require proofs unless you request changes.

Do you offer discounts for fire departments, EMS, or veterans?

We do offer department and group pricing, and occasionally run promotions for first responders and veterans. Contact us for current options.


Shipping & Production

How long does production take?

Most in-stock or standard items ship within 1–3 business days. Custom designs may require additional production time depending on complexity and order size.

What shipping options are available?

We typically ship via USPS or UPS. Local pickup may be available for certain orders; check the shipping options at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we primarily ship within the United States. If you need an international shipment, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your order.


Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will repair, replace, or refund the item as appropriate.

Are custom orders refundable?

Custom-made products are generally non-refundable unless there is a production error or the item differs from the approved proof.

Do you replace decals installed incorrectly?

We cannot accept returns for installation errors, but we may be able to offer a discounted replacement decal. Contact us with details.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can check out as a guest or create an account to save your information and track past orders.

How can I check my order status?

You can log in to your account to view order status, or use the tracking link sent in your shipping confirmation email.
